Do you have anything proving that?Because it's a first use. Electrolytic capacitors need to form.
I never heard about it before.

... a process that takes seconds or minutes at best. And I bet the devices were tested before they left the factory. So, unless it was in stock for multiple months, all the forming was already done at the factory.Because it's a first use. Electrolytic capacitors need to form.
And the capacitors where also probably tested before beeing sold...... a process that takes seconds or minutes at best. And I bet the devices were tested before they left the factory. So, unless it was in stock for multiple months, all the forming was already done at the factory.
No there is no need for that. Or I completely missed something during my years at school learning electronics, numeric and analog. In the analog world we would put a Variac on gear and slowly bring its voltage up for 1/2 hour to form their capacitors. You can't do that with digital, yet the caps still need to form.
Probably. The fact that this isn't done anymore doesn't mean that caps don't benefit from it, does it?No there is no need for that. Or I completely missed something during my years at school learning electronics, numeric and analog.
You are right, but As you pretend that is has some benefits on the working of an amp and that you can hear when a cap is formed or not: do you have any scientific publication to share on the subject? Some measurement of before and after forming the caps please?Probably. The fact that this isn't done anymore doesn't mean that caps don't benefit from it, does it?
I think the A40 is a bargain at twice the price.
noDoes A40 provide this functionality:
- reads and plays audio files from USB keys/ USB memory
yes (depending on what you mean by "good". I don't have experience with this, but I own the D40 pro which I have connected to a Raspberry-PI, this works flawlessly)- works good from PC - USB connection
no (there is no network connection)- have mobile app to operate/ mabage A40
How this can change because of the amplifier? Isn't it depending of the speaker, where and how there are place in the room from the listener?but it did have a more holographic soundstage than the Loxjie
Certainly:Can somebody give a list of IR remote commands ?
According to the circuit design of their previous product A30, it is indeed the njw1194 that is used as the final stage for all inputs. Can somebody give a list of IR remote commands ? What a shame it is'nt radio.
Specially, how can we adjust custom EQ mode ?
Also, does NJW1194 volume control keep last level in memory for each entry ?
Some countries (including the United States) can no longer buy from AliExpress because of its unfriendly return policy towards stores.I ordered one from hifi-express on March 25th and it arrived today, no drama, total of $225.00. I couldn't find a way to get AlliExpress to ship to California.
Initial listening impressions are it sounds fantastic using optical in from a WiiM streamer to my Ascend Acoustics towers.
Probably it's indeed the same for A40.According to the circuit design of their previous product A30, it is indeed the njw1194 that is used as the final stage for all inputs.
