Loopback measurement of RME ADI-2 PRO FS (Black Edition)

This is very helpful as for a while I have been considering getting an ADI2, but it would be a sideways step from my Motu 8A

Better off getting the notch filter and ultra low distortion sig gen sorted.
Did you ever try to average the 8 inputs of the 8A ?

Building a 8-channels Y split cable and them averaging all 8 channels in Motu software?
In theory, you should improve SNR by several dBs (3dB x 3)...

I have thought about it but never managed to motivate myself to try it out :) I really should!

It seemed to me that for a given DAC, it is more relevant to measure jitter and compare the results with the original DAC.

Thanks. Also interesting are the measurements for the DSD, since the RME ADI-2 Pro FS does not use PCM conversions to volume control. I think that it’s worth doing a separate test for the ADC.
