Looking to invest to make my audio better

Ok I’ll get back to it soon, I need to do measurements because I changed the room layout
Make that +6.5 for 70 dB and 9.5 for 60 or simply do it yourself towards this graph (@530 Hz).

Before you buy new speakers, maybe you could do something about your room's acoustics.

The best upgrade I've done to the sound in my listening room was to invest in some sound absorption panels to lower and even out the overall energy response in the time domain. When the decay times are too long it can easily lead to an overwhelming sound as the "old and new sounds" overlap each other, as the energy builds up.

What does the RT60 Decay look like in your room?

The following video is a good watch if you want to know how you generate an RT60 Decay measurement. The general idea is to strive for an even response over the frequency response as much as possible and maybe lower the overall energy if it's somewhat high. By looking at the RT60 Decay measurement it's easy to see what in the frequency response needs to be fixed, and invest in some room treatment materials that are effective for that range.
