At the end of the day, your modeler and any other processing should be what makes the sound exciting and enjoyable. The speaker is only there to reproduce that sound. You probably want good dynamic range and low distortion over absolute frequency response accuracy. IME this allows you to 'hear in to' the complex textures of the instruments sound.
