Looking for headphone amp + DAC/Streamer combo for Meze Empyrean II

Hi!

I'm currently using these headphones with Topping DX9, sadly the unit is in the process of breaking down for me, since I got it pretty much 8 months ago there were issues with the display freezing, now something very worrying is going on where display is pernamently frozen and the unit sometimes takes about 20-30 tries to fire up (gets stuck at welcome screen). Had a bunch of other issues where it required restart. Overall it sounds great, but I can't be bothered with anything else Topping going forward, ahead of me is what I'm sure will be enjoyable process of sending this unit to China, long story short, I'm looking for my next device to replace DX9.

Currently I'm considering Violectric HPA V222 paired with Audiolab 9000N, what do you guys think of this pairing? Maybe something else I should consider?

Given my experiences with Topping I'd highly prefer to avoid Chinese produced devices, RMA process is just too much.
