I had made a DIY streamer with a built-in display running Volumio that worked very well for my 2ch stereo setup. I’ve now added 2 subwoofers and making that work with RoomEQ would essentially mean I’d need to add a miniDSP product (for being able to crossover between subs and speakers) and rework my DIY audio switch to account for the additional signals. I also use this setup with my Denon AVR so I can’t just simply plug the speakers into the Sub amplifier.
Before I decide to go that route of miniDSP and other stuff, what are high performing off the shelf streamers to consider that have a display and built-in roomEQ that also have subwoofer outputs (preferably dual subs)? And preferably 12V trigger functionality too.
