- DAC usb
- streamer
- tidal and spotify compatible
- bluetooth 5
- rca out
- toslink/coax input
- MQA (desirable, not mandatory)

I am looking for something impossible?
the closest thing is the matrix element x, but it's missing a few things.

EDIT: What do you think of this combination of 2 devices?
Gustard X16 + Pro-Ject Stream Box S2 Ultra.

I think I'd I'd buy a separate streamer and DAC if I were looking.

What's the need to combine the two functions?

Seems to me it just narrows your choices.

I would like to have it all in one device to save space and to have, I suppose, good software from the manufacturer that takes advantage of all the functions.

I had also planned to use JRiver media center (USB DAC mode) and use the app on the mobile phone as a remote control for listen music.

It has everything else though, with no compromise whatsoever.
are there any reviews available of the CXN V2?
is there much difference in sound quality with similarly priced DACs? (SINAD)

Other than Tidal connect, Spotify connect, MQA support, 384khz upsampling, Airplay, Chromcast and Roon support. It’s just as good as any other DAC on this forum.

It looks awesome too.

+1 on @RayDunzl's suggestion of seperate units. If not, you'll need to compromise.

No measurements on here for CXN V2, but satisfied customers a plenty (@Jimbob54 - somebody's mentioned the CXN V2). Adding a dongle would be straightforward.

Maybe hard to get but it plays everything and has even hdmi slots free to add every streaming dongle of the future. Bluetooth on board but can be extended with an aptx usb oem dongle. Chromecast inside on 1.44 Firmware(ultra). Tidal mqa no problem.

Onkyo TX 8390

Is using a cheap streamer with digital output the same as an expensive one? After all, if I use the digital output, the DAC will do the conversion.
is it possible to use the USB outputs to connect DAC and streamer? or is it necessary to do it by toslink?

I have a CXNv2 and like it very much. I use this 5.0 receiver via Toslink, and it works great. I think Topping makes one that costs less.
