Hello,
I have a pair of Logitech LS21 speakers and the left speaker works at 100% where the right one works at 10% efficiency. I have checked for any outdated software and could not find any issues. I checked the cables to see if they are bent or broken. Everything looked fine. I remembered that when the problem occurred, I plugged in a pair of headphones into the 3.5 mm jack slot located on the Logitech LS21 wired remote.
Somehow the 3.5mm jack disrupted the balance between the speakers. I used the jack on my headphones and pressed it with force in different directions inside the jack slot on the Logitech LS21 remote. I had my audio switched on so I could hear when the hardware was out of position and when it was working properly. After carefully adjusting the case inside the 3.5mm slot this solved the problem.
My question is how do you normally troubleshoot audio issues as this would have been nearly impossible to fix with a customer over the phone? Do you guys use some step-by-step procedure or repair equipment that helps you locate the fault in a relatively short time?
