I'm currently working on a project where i'm recording everything on a Sony point and shoot camera (Cyber shot DSC-W800). The audio has this digital camcorder sound that i really like. It started with a few songs but I ended up re-recording everything on the camera. I plan on compiling the videos and releasing it on my youtube and the mp3s on Soundcloud. It's a small project but serves as my protest to AI (not explaining) and the obsession of hi-fi (in terms of music and film). My only concern is does this constitute as Lo-Fi music? Not in terms of the aesthetic and bedroom pop (not a dig) genre definition but true outsider lo-fi.
