Listening to music from a single speaker?

Hi. I'm wondering if anyone else uses their music system like I do?
I combine the stereo signal using a KLARKTEKNİK DI 10P connector and then send it to the Genelec 8340a speakers via an XLR cable. It's a single speaker. Listening to music this way is both enjoyable and not tiring.

I also have two 8340a speakers and a GLM kit. But I prefer listening to music through a single speaker like this.

I'm curious if anyone else does this or has tried it and didn't like it.

Am I an anomaly?

I sometimes enjoy listening to some of my old mono recordings on one speakers but "summing stereo to mono" electronically changes the signal, sometime a little, sometimes a lot, so I avoid it. YMMV.
