Listening to audio "out and about" without a smartphone?

Hello

I currently don't use a smartphone, and have been wondering about portable ways to listen to music outside of the house.

I have an MP3 player which is OK but requires pre-loading and I don't have the organisational skills to really use it.

I was curious if there is any type of mobile streaming device, or other type of setup which could work, without having to get a smart phone.

I'm guessing it's unlikely because of the need for some type of SIM contract and the lack of demand for such a product in the smartphone era. Thought it might be worth a shot on here though.

Alternatively, you could buy an Android DAP with WiFi, something like the HiBy M3 or M300.

Install your preferred Streaming service on there and while no you can't stream music with it on the go, downloading songs, albums, playlists at home and then listening to them out and about would become much easier as there are no files to manage.

Just browse for an album or playlist and tap download.

Buy a cheap lightweight android smartphone on eBay and use a data only sim for it, load it with whatever streaming app you sre subscribed to
