I'm wondering which budget amplifier has a HPF.
I only found 2 so far :
- Douk A5
- O-Noorus D1 Pro (Not sure it's fully released though)
- SMSL A50 Pro

If there's amplifiers with integrated DAC it could be added to the list too

+ the SMSL A50 Pro
Just bought one to give away (needed an all-in-one device with HDMI ARC). Curious to try something so cheap. Wouldn't ypu believe it - it arrived as I was typing the message. Paid <$100USD all in.

It seems interesting feature wise and I even thought to buy it but the bad reviews I read on it pushed me away.
To get all of these feature (ARC, HPF, LPF, BLUETOOTH...) at such a low price compromise must have been made and I fear they made it on the sound quality/fidelity or reliability of the amp from what I've seen.

It's going to a rather undiscerning household. So expectations are set low. So long as there's no hiss or other audible noise and ARC works without drama, I will be quite pleased for such a low price.

I really wonder why there isn't more AMP with HPF? How are people using a subwoofers with their speakers without a HPF?

There are multiple ways:

- you get a subwoofer with built-in full crossover (most of the studio subs are like that)
- you use an AVR or AVP
- you use hardware based DSP, such as any miniDSP devices or TinySine or Wiim etc. etc.
- you use software based DSP on your source, for example using Jriver on a PC with a multichannel DAC (this is what I have been using for like 10 years)

The RSL iA255.1 mini-integrated amp has a 90Hz HPF switch (and DAC).

I'm very baffled why most active subs aren't that way. Implementing HPFs on line outs is technically trivial and vendors are missing a large subset of the audio market who doesn't want bulky AVRs.
