How to import these PEQ filters into Equalizer APO?
In the video I demonstrated:
1. Copied Amir's Equalizer APO profile for AKG 371 (from audiosciencereview.com)
2. On Desktop, created "akg k371 amir.txt" and pasted the contents
3. Copied the preamp text only, then created a 2nd file called "akg k371 flat with amirs preamp.txt", and pasted the contents
4. Saved both .txt files
5. Cut both .txt files
6. Navigated to "c:\program files\equalizer apo\config". Note: Equalizer Apo won't accept the .txt from another directory on your computer, so it must be in this directory.
7. Pasted both .txt files into the directory
8. Opened "Configuration Editor" (which opens "Equalizer APO Configuration Editor")
9. In the section called "Preamplification", clicked on "Remove" button. (It's not needed anymore)
10. In the section called "Graphic EQ", clicked on "Remove" button. (It's not needed anymore)
12. In the section called "Include", selected "browse" button, changed to "akg k371 amir.txt" (which will import this profile)
13. Selected Green "Plus" icon, to add another section, selected "Control", then "Include (include configuration file)"
14. Selected "browse" button, selected "akg k371 flat with amirs preamp.txt" (which will import this 2nd profile)
15. Once both profiles were imported, showed how to view the filters by selecting green "UP" arrow
16. Showed how to disable and enable one profile at a time.
Overall, took 1min.
I know some of you are visual learners, so I hope that helps.
