January-1st's job : cleaned up the OS software & ancillary mess :eek: in my HTPC in preparation of the next coming 12 month' playing jobs ... ;)

OS : Linux Mint 19.1 xfce 64-bit, for a reliable and fast desktop (Generic Kernel upgraded to the Low Latency Kernel for minimal latency)

Music Server : MPD
Web Server : LIGHTTPD
Installed AVAHI so that the remote clients are able to find the MPD-server
MPD-server remote clients : MPDroid via my Android phones
Local graphic front end for the MPD-server : CANTATA

UPnP Media Servers on the HTPC : MinimServer
Gateway Media Server for browsing and playing music from external streaming services (Spotify, Google Play Music, Qobuz, Tidal) : upmpdcli
