Lii Audio 21 Inch Woofer for Bass Compensation of Open Baffle or Cabinet | W-21

The fact that BassBox doesn't like the specs would be enough to steer me away from that driver. Like previous posters have said Dayton Audio and Lavoce have a few 18inch drivers at or below the same price point.

It certainly is a thought-provoking bit of information to add to the Lii driver goulash. ;)

Yup. IIRC yellow means +- 3% and red means at least 6 maybe 7% off what's expected. I can easily see 2 or 3% off published spec for any number of non nefarious reasons but any more than that and you really need to start thinking should I really be considering using this driver.

I used a pair of these Goldwood 18" in a big open baffle years ago. Worked well but too big to be useful. Not sure if it's still sold.

Tell that to the guys (and I'd bet money that most of them are guys) who are buying 85 inch* (and larger) televisions. :facepalm:
;)

* sorry for the Imperial measurement -- I reckon that soon screen size for TVs will be measured in hectares worldwide. :)
