Lg V20 and miniDSP HD 2x4 connection via USB, help.

Hi, I have an older V20 that I would like to connect to a miniDSP HD 2x4 via the USB input on the DSP.
I can not seem to get this to work via an OTG cable. Has anyone else?

If there is just a straight up compatibility issue with the V20 and miniDSP, then does anyone know of a list of phones that will work via OTG sending the bits to the DSP via USB.
