Hello there. This is my first post on the forum.

I own a Lexicon RV-9 using it with a Lexicon LX-7 for a 11.1.4 setup.

In the manual of RV-9 i see it comes with Dirac Live Support. I have the microphone comes with the AVR but on the Dirac Live website i can't see the Lexicon RV-9 option. Is Dirac Live no longer available for RV-9?
If yes, with my microphone how can i do the measurement and calibration for my room aqousitic? Do i need a device like Minidsp as Dirac Live no longer supports my RV-9?

Thanks in advance.

It may have a prepaid Dirac license which means you just download the software and it will find the product. No registration needed.

Things only are on the website if you can buy upgrades.

I owned a RV-6 a while ago. If I remember it correctly I had to create an account at Dirac, apart from downloading the software to my PC. That was it and no additional fees. Have you tried that?
BTW, I already had an UMIK-1 so I went with that.

Thanks all.

@Jost Buergi Without downloading anything how did you match your AVR and Dirac?

@GXAlan So when i connect them in the same network and search, they will match?

No, you have to download the software from Dirac, as I wrote. It’s free.
The receiver must be on and connected the same home network. Then the software should find it when starting up.

Thanks @Jost Buergi

Now i set up finish. But i could not find how to connect rv-9 to same wifi with my computer.

Do i have to connect it only via ethernet? İ dont have modem in my cinema room.

Your Lexicon and your computer both must be connected to your home network. For Dirac it doesn’t matter whether it’s wifi or ethernet but as the RV-9 doesn‘t offer wifi connection AFAIK it has to be ethernet here.
