Agree, Blue would give a "smoother" presentation. With gold stripes likely would sound more immersive.
Cables with reasonable resistance, inductance and capacitance for the equipment they will be used on should vary so little as to be inaudible.
Now when using equipment that is not well designed (IE: high output impedance preamp to a low impedance input power amp - poor at both ends!) cables likely would matter far more. But poorly designed equipment should be avoided, not catered to with "special" cables.
