Im comparing this amp vs Yamaha PX-8
Any suggestion? How about fan noise?
I sent email ti Adam Hall company and they replaied weried replay "we have no information on the fan noise. I am sorry! Technical Support Specialist.

It's intended for Pro use. Fans are a normal part of life there. Often you can slow them down somewhat for domestic use, but the manufacturer usually has no interest.

Looks almost like a QSC PL380. I can’t help but to chuckle at 2ru amps with a measly IEC c14. Well, if it was 240v only…. Now I work with some pretty rippin power amps, but for live gear you’d hope you can hear the fans in the amps over the fans in the rack enclosure… ha!

Certainly can mod to slow the fans. If the amp ain’t seeing too much action, you could just defeat the fans. Better be real light duty (inside/ mid or hi/ nearfield etc) and far from boundaries. Hell, make sure it doesn’t have anything above and put it on risers and punch/ drill holes in the lids.
