A comparison to the original amp would be very interesting! Has nobody one around?
I owned it at the time I did active Live Mixing to power my little PA - was always reliable and sounding good, would imagine the original has at least not the strange behaviour of the 2nd channel and better channel separation. But sold plenty of years ago as you got good prices for these.
I still own an even older 4-channel LAB for monitor speakers ... working without a single problem ever. But also pretty loud fans, they all have.

There are plenty of points of concern:

- Those noisy fans might be replaceable. I modded my Yamaha and replaced the stock fans with Noctuas, now it is silent unless you stick your head next to it.

There are many people that bring a NOISY fan piece of gear home and get so angry about the noise that they forget that there are much quieter fans that can be installed in place of the noisy ones.
The proliferation of quiet fans that are now available are another blessing (that few think of [because: well, they are quiet]) that are a result of the home use game computing industry.

breaker tripping. So bypassed the power strip and used the AC outlet directly (20 Amp). This allowed me to sweep 4 ohm to clipping:

At some point before my occupancy (likely when it was built, in the early 1970's [as it only had a 100 amp service breaker box]) in my modest (1100 sq. feet) city home had no breaker less than 20 amps.
I have since (with the assistance and oversite of a Union Certified electrician) converted to a 160 amp service breaker box and continued with additional 20 amp circuits. There is no AC outlet in this home that is less than 20 Amp. A great thing for the kitchen, with the many more counter top things that draw current in that area these days.
I will say that the ones for the kitchen and bathrooms were expensive but they are the most likely to involve a life and death situation, so I want to offer these
8 pieces of advice (there are of course other things to consider. I feel that these are of primary consideration.):

Don’t Ignore GFCI Protection​

Safety First

Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters (GFCIs) are required in bathrooms to protect against electrical shock, especially in wet areas.

Never skip installing GFCIs near sinks, showers, or bathtubs.

Don’t Use Non-Waterproof Outlets​

Protect Against Moisture​

Bathrooms (and kitchens) are prone to moisture. Always install waterproof or water-resistant outlets to prevent electrical hazards caused by moisture seeping into outlets and switches.

Don’t Overlook Outlet and Switch Placement​

Keep Away from Water​

Place outlets and switches safely away from water sources, like sinks and showers, to reduce the risk of electrical shock and ensure safety and code compliance.

Don’t Use Inadequate Wiring​

Choose the Right Materials​

Bathrooms require wiring rated for damp environments. Inadequate wiring can result in electrical failures and long-term damage.

Don’t Forget to Label Circuits​

Future Maintenance​

Label all circuits in your electrical panel to avoid confusion during future maintenance.

This makes it easier for you and your electrician to troubleshoot issues or make upgrades.

Don’t Fail to Separate Circuits for High-Power Devices​

Dedicated Circuits Needed​

High-power appliances like heaters, blow dryers, and heated floors should have their dedicated circuits.

Combining these with other circuits can cause overloads.

Don’t Mix Lighting and Power Circuits​

Safety and Load Distribution​

Keep lighting circuits separate from power-hungry devices.

There is no AC outlet in this home that is less than 20 Amp.

Same here. When we did our major remodel, I asked my electrician that everything but 12 gague/20 amp circuit. He said his installers will be grumpy since heavier wire is harder to pull but the incremental cost was not much. We do have dual 200 amp panels for total of 400 amps to go with it. I didn't mean to ask him to run lights with 12 gauge but they did that too! With all the bulbs now being LED, it is a total waste but that's what it is.

The 20 amp runs have really come in handy with audio testing that I had not anticipated to ever do!

Reading a lot of people that have had negative experince with clones / china amps..


I just want to post my experience with some amplifiers.

I uasually just do church and voluntere jobs so i dont get much paid and the same goes for the equipment either used or cheap.

I got my hands on a used sanway fp10000q. Got it from a friend that had used 2x on a big cinema setup at home. One amp on 4x beyma 21" subs and one amp on some eaw cinema series speakers as a 2 way setup. The subwoofer amp died after a good year or so..the one driving the speakers kept on. He brougt new amps and gave me the old ones.

Tested the sanway out on some martin audio speakers and was amazed on the preformance compeard to the my old beta three t 3000. And ep4000 i had. But money was tight so i sold it to another friend that still uses it on a big cerwin vega setup 4x dc1515 and 2x diy b&c 21" subs. He was also very impresed. It outplayed the 3 x cerwin vega cv 1800 he had used before.

After some time i got some money and after looking at the used market i gave up and orderd 3pcs of sinbosen fp10000q lab clones.
Those 3 have outlived and replaced / favord : powersoft digam 5000. crown xti 4000. Crown cts2500. Beta three t3000. Behringer ep4000.

Soundwise it is very great. The first amp was used for more than a year in the church for the coda la4 line array. Not one fault. And it gave the speakers a huge boost compared to the old xti4000 that died. It was only replaced when the church got refurbished and upgraded to Em acustics DQ20 amp and em 215 subs and em R10 tops.

In another house of prayer where 2x crown cts2500 died. The nr1 sinbosen gave the 4x Martin audio AQ12 and 2x S18 subs a new breath of life. But because of fan noise they where eventaly replaced with 2x used martin audio ma2.8s (lab gruppen made)

The second sinbosen amp have been used alot on a martin audio rig. 2x martin audio F15 tops and 4x S18 subs. (Sometimes 4xF12+ and 2x wsx218.)
Had many jobs with it and the sound was superb.

The 3 amp have been used on many jobs as an monitor amp for many diffrent jobs. rockband. choir. ++++ and people always give feedback that the sound from the Martin audio F8. F10+. F12+ (depends on the job) is so much better than most of the active speakers they uasually is given in diffrent churches and so on. Qsc k12. Yamaha dxr and such.

Yeah i know the fans make a huge noise..
And yeah i know supporting clones is no good..

But i cant say anything negative for its price.
They clearly outputs its reated power.
They sound great. (No doubt that it sounds better than xti4000 and cts 2500 and such)
They have been used almost daily for 3 years (across the 3 amps..) and not one have had one fault. Not even a tiny bit.

So i have to say i am very happy with them. And when i get the time for it. I am gonna replace the noisy ass fans and make a pwm fan controller for them.
(Most of the time I get to hide the Amps behind the stage or in a techinal room beside And on other jobs the fan noise is masked by sound or people anyway.)

Many people don't think of the used/free market but they can be a great source of good gear.
Noisy fans can be replaced with better, less noisy fans. PWM or otherwise.
