KZ EDX Pro x KZ EDC Pro

KZ EDX Pro x KZ EDC Pro what is better?
How about providing some links - or even just a description. Instead of expecting us to do all the running.

Some people like running but I'm not like that. Since I don't have both of these, I'll just stay quiet though would like some inputs from others that might have heard from both iems.

The price range between these two models is almost the same. I need to choose one of them to buy which one is better and has good bass?

EDC Pro is newer and favorably regarded by a few of us that own it on this subforum.

Thank you, I'm going to buy this EDC Pro
I saw that it has metal in the shell. Does this make it easy to corrode and oxidize if sweat gets on the shell?

You never did provide links for other members that are not aware of the models, or your gear, FWIW. Good luck with your purchase! :)

The EDC Pro is not metal, the IEM is resin and the metal looking face plate is just a decorative insert under the resin, they are well made though especially for $3-5.

I use the EDC Pro with the stock cable and eartips. It sounds good to me, it seems to measure quite well too. It measures better than the EDX Pro. (Paul Wasabi measurements on squig.link)

KZ EDX Pro x KZ EDC Pro what is better?
I have both, just received my EDCs and compared them to the EDXs, which have been my go to for on the street listening.

It wasn't exactly a scientific comparison, listened to one, unplugged, put the other one on, plugged in, a few seconds pause in between, rinse an repeat.

I have to say subjectively I favor the EDCs. They seemed to have more bass - in spite of the useful graph provided by brydon10 - a little more air, but silkier, more subdued highs. Not that the EDXs are harsh, but they are a bit spikier, a bit more papery sounding. Also a little more low mids for the EDC - again, somewhat in contrast with the graph. Maybe that dip between 400-1500 Hz gives that subjective impression. The output of the EDCs seems to be slightly lower overall.

On the whole I hear more detail on the EDCs, and they sound a little more natural - the EDXs sound a little flatter - not as in transparent, but as in without relief - and papery. It's a very small difference though, don't think it's gonna be a significantly different experience. All in all, i think the EDCs have become my new go to.
