KZ EDC Pro x GK Kunten

Is there a significant or minimal difference in bass and sound quality between the KZ EDC Pro and the GK Kunten? Does the upgrade offer benefits or little difference?

The Kunten uses the same driver as the KZ Zenith, which is more advanced.

I know advertising materials don't carry much water around here, but it makes sense to me in this case.

I just got the Kunten and have been listening for a couple days straight. Never heard the EDC Pro but have the PRX and the ZAR and can say the Kunten holds its own against the more expensive sets. I was able to nab it for under 5 bucks, including shipping and tax, so if you have any reservations, I say go for it, it's not gonna cost you much. They sound outstanding to me, and in my book they beat the Zero 2 and the Zero Red in terms of clarity and definition, as well as overall excitement in the sound.

Looking at the FRs, Zero 2 looks the closest to the Harman Target, but yes that can only tell you so much. I have the Zero 2 and it is way better than anything I would expect for the price. The only thing it can't do well is classical music.

Yes the Zero 2 are very good, I just like the Kunten better. I feel like Harman for in-ears can be beaten, it's not as good as for over-ears. My faves are still the Kiwi x HBB Punch and the Ziigaat Odyssey, but the Kunten is 3rd place there but not lagging far behind. Amazing for the price.
