KRK ROKIT 5 Gen 4 Review (Studio Monitor)

Theres a new krk Krea 3,5 and 8 inch, how do there compare to the krk classic (where i think th classic is based on the g3)

main diference is the tweeter: https://gearspace.com/board/reviews/1429851-krk-systems-rokit-5-generation-five.html
there is some improvement in the DSP also, but nothing special
There's no dps on the krea

The rokit g3 looks just about the same as the classic (or just design wise varriants of the same speaker) except for the bass port placement and bt on the krea

I think the latest can be almost the same and is hard to differentiate for older models (g2 and g3) and hard to know which is the best (like the regular Porsche 911)

I remember the 5's have a little white noise and a party sound, sparkle to the highs and a punchy bass, they do, are able to play loud despite having a punchy bass

As a cheap party speaker they are great, don't cost much to replace a rokit or krea 5 if they get damaged and sound better than most logitech, creative speakers, can compete for sq with edifier

I hope that if Amir gets a G5, he gets the 8inch.
Or krea 8 to see, hear what diffrence there is to the classic 8 and the kra 8 (or the 5" version)

Krk rookit 5's have to me always had alot deeper perception of the bass than yamaha HS5, for first studio monitors without a sub or cheap party ,multimedia speakers, KRK Rocks

HS series always sucked. Amir meassured them. too much mids. basicly the opposite of the Rokit series G1-G3 with their smiley curve.
They try to be the new NS10 (sound signature, but the ns10 has much more mids than the hs5)

Update: Nice sound overall but one of the channels broke at 2.5 years usage at low volume, in HK only 1 year warranty and the "inspection fee" cost $100 with actual repair cost on top of that, basically means any repair will equate with a new speaker. Online search showed a lot with the same issue (back LCD screen flickers, no sound at all), and solution always seems to be a bad cap.

Conclusion on my side: budget with good sound, but turns into e-waste very soon.

Mine are 4 years old now, had a fair bit of use, but mostly low volume for Youtube / watching sports.

Ended up my right channel speaker have find a friend to replaced the PSU capacitor, paid him $50 for a meal and it worked, it seems with standby enabled the PSU cap is ticking to fail quite often, YMMV though as for all electronics

It's JCCON 10V 1000uF cap, for the choice of brand I have a feel it's the quality itself making it prone to buldging

Any idea of value / voltage rating / brand? Unless the part was undersized to begin with, I would expect a replacement of decent quality to last many years.
update... after replacing the cap the same speaker have the same cap buldging AGAIN in 2 months... and this time it completely cannot turn on vs the rear screen flickering... I will give it once more trial on replacing the cap, I am somehow suspecting some sort of ripple filtering failure so the same speaker just kept dying..
