I found this used for a good price and am using it with my Vandersteen 2Ce Sig II speakers. I control volume from the DAC so I used splitters to hook it up. I've never had a 12" subwoofer before and once I set it up (had to place it on bricks to get it to stop rattling) I was really impressed with what it adds. I'm not sure what settings I used, I played around with the LPF, gain, and phase and placement until I got it "just right" but I haven't tried taking measurements yet. I put the subwoofer on the right side of the speakers, angled towards me a little, which seemed to help maybe by increasing the space in the back between the port and the wall, and also locating the directivity of the sound is easier to do when it's facing me.
