I bought a bunch of stuff from a dude that wanted to get rid of his old stereo. Amongst it was a pair of Magnat Vector 207, built around 2012 to 2015.

The marketing material says "Klippel optimized":
Mit aufwendiger Klippel-Optimierung der Chassis gelang die Maximierung von Klangqualität und Wirkungsgrad für perfekte Zusammenarbeit auch mit kleinen Verstärkern.
It's unknown what Klippel optimized means. Did they use a Klippel system in QA? Did they use a NFS during development? We will never know.

Here are some specs from the manufacturer:
  • 600€ pair
  • 3 way, ported
  • Woofer: 2x 170 mm, 20-300Hz
  • Midwoofer: 1x 170 mm, 300-3200Hz
  • Tweeter: 1x 25 mm, 3200-20.000Hz
  • Power: 180W (340W peak)
  • Sensitivity: 92 dB/m/W
  • Frequency response: 22 - 55.000 Hz
  • Impedance: 4 - 8 Ohm
  • Size: 200 x 1100 x 330 mm (W x H x D)
  • Mass: 21 kg
Despite it's 21kg, it feels light because it's such a tall speaker at 110cm. The enclosures are kind of slim with 20cm:

Sadly, the bridges for the speaker terminals are missing, so i had to make some:

Now the bananas barely grip, but it's good enough for a listen.

The speakers are fun to listen to, with dynamic snares and clean bass. Not brilliant, but not terrible either. I have not yet corrected them using MiniDSP and probably never will. They will be sold for 150€ and someone (probably younger folk) will be happy to get a pair of loud playing speakers for little money.

The marketing material says "Klippel optimized":
There are many Klippel modules. 99% chance it does NOT mean NFS. Likely it means distortion optimization of drivers. Worst case is that they used Klippel for frequency response measurements which is not that much different than using REW with an audio interface.

The best thing about Magnat speakers here in Western Europe, is that the second hand market is absolutely flooded with them. You can pick up a decent pair for absolute chips. Need a totally listenable set of bookshelves RIGHT NOW? Just pick up a pair of Magnets from the local Craigslist-alternative for €50. Want to build a 5.1 surround system but hate spending money? Go to the local thrift stores and collect random Magnat speakers until you've got enough for a rig. Starving student/artist? Magnat! :p

As the marketing material writes Klippel is used to optimise the chassis so not NFS, Magnat and Heco advertise about it since many years. This doesn't reduce its value though as the frequency response measurements can be also obtained with different methods, though usually it is more tedious and often with higher error boundaries.
