The vast majority of people likely to walk by my system know nothing about audio. I leave the price tags on my cables and it is worth the cost to see how impressed they are.

Some people just like to brag about their disposable wealth, often acquired through inheritance or large lottery winnings, i.e not through hard work of their own. Not this chicken, though. Bedawk! At best, I'm worth a case of two of Jim Beam.

I'm sure the burglars appreciate that

Oh, I forgot to mention I also include the weight of each piece of gear. They see that my monoblock amps weigh 350 pounds each and they know to skip my house and go next door instead, where my neighbor's system probably doesn't even weigh a measly 100 pounds.

There's a big parking area out front of my gates. I have a lot of pets, but they're mostly harmless.

Or how sorry they are for you....

oh....oh....only about 30 to 40 miles away...

Wild Animal Park?

Would it not be deliciously devious if you used Amazon Basics cables instead in your system, but stuck "high-end" cable price tags on them? And then realized that this is possibly what the "high-end" audio cable company has been doing all along? It's not like anyone could legitimately tell any different.

I wondered whether anybody would actually look up that address. I did mention having several animals and a lot of available parking. ;)
but are you really close to there?
