They don’t have drivers on the rear, but I thought I read that the cardioid response was extended , eight drivers per module.

The BXT/Kii Three is the exact height as the Kiis on their dedicated stands, they look taller in photographs.

I just heard the Kii BXT and the sound was very good. Let there be no doubt about that!

Clearly a step up from the Kii standalone. At a price...€30.000...

Still, could the reproduction of female voices at higher SPL be better?

Just one thought: Why stop with the Kii BXT. Below I present to you the Kii ABXT, 200 centimeters tall. Another step up! Suggested price €50.000

I like how they use Paul Barton's old trick of of multiple woofers to reduce the depth of the floor notch. Nowhere near a line source due to the wavelengths involved, but the floor notch will be slightly different for all woofers helping them fill each other's cancellation. Should give them a bit more body and "you are there" vs "they are here".

Yes, they sounded fuller, more extended, not like a PC speaker on steroids anymore.

Because they go up to 200 Hz, one may argue that Kii and Kii BXT are two different speakers.
