Hi there. I am hoping someone can shed light on a question about the KEF Reference (non-Meta) Speaker line. Is there a significance to the colour of the cones? In the KEF Brochure, https://images.salsify.com/image/upload/s--Fls9DYpW--/9539f212baceb8e276c39ff7fa2df60bb01594ac.pdf, the cones are black, in the KEF Information Sheet, https://images.salsify.com/image/upload/s--bzA7JgC9--/ef5f2d870e7a52a870e0403ee0c7a8324786a7e1.pdf, they are silver. Does that mean anything? I vaguely remember that there was more than one revision of the penultimate KEF Reference series (not including Meta). Has anyone else heard the same?

The cones in my Blade 2 Metas are Red but I was given a choice. Purely aesthetic matter.

There was a revision of the original Reference series where cone colors changed for the only non-glossy finish with the walnut cabinets (from black to silver), but AFAIK the other models stayed with the original cone colors.
