I’m very convinced with the aesthetic of the 50 metas but for 800 euros a pair…

They were about 800€/pair a few months ago, but they seem to be out of production now with not too much stock left. No matter how good the Metas are, the first gen R3 are still great speakers for those kinds of prices ...

Did you ever get round to setting up your Kef R3 LCR setup? About to embark on trying to find someone in the UK to split a pair of R3's with, so keen to understand how you go on

Yes the LCR is setup... partly. There are some renovations in between and some babies turning toddlers slowing things down.
Have listened to a lot of music from the R3's so far and I am very happy

Unfortunately not. I'm on the lookout for someone else who wants to split a pair.
