They are all phenomenal speakers. You just have to set them up right. I think the fair comparison however is the 805s against the KEF Ref 1.
To get the benefit from either you need a larger room, and commit to setting them up with a good sub if you want -like many hear seem to do- "room filling bass".
Both of these in my experience overwhelm smaller rooms or closer listening distances because they try hard to be tower alternatives. They are awesome speakers. But they are tuned for that. Hence they are priced accordingly.
