I've had my Kef R3 Meta for a couple of years now. I'm a musical omnivore, I'll listen to pretty much anything. I do listen to a lot of Jazz through them, both instrumental and vocal, and they do a remarkable job of reproducing Jazz quite well. Vintage Jazz, new Jazz, streaming, vinyl - it all sounds great to me.Can they be good for classical music, jazz and various singer-songwriters?
I need a speaker that is very detailed in the medium-high range (for wind instruments, strings and voices) possibly without being too aggressive and tiring on long listening sessions.
Have you ever listened to them with this music?
Probably combined with a Nad399.
Thank you very much.
The system I'm using:
U-Turn Orbit Theory/Ortofon 2M Bronze - Schiit Mani 2 - Audiolab 6000CDT - WiiM Pro Plus - Schiit Freya S - Buckeye Purifi 1ET400A - KEF R3 Meta - SVS-SB1000 Pro Sub
I love it, YMMV
