KEF Q Meta is Coming

It would be best if you could place the speaker as far away from you as possible on that back wall and then angle it towards the listening position. If that's not possible, instead of the Q4 you may want to consider getting outdoor speakers that come with a pivoting mount instead. Or any bookshelf plus a pivoting wall mount solution.
Q4 meta has a mounting that can extend a bit

After 4 months, my order of Q6 meta is shipped. Ordered Jan 1st with 22% discount - hidden-audio estimated it would be shipped mid-March but that slide until now.
Could be fun weekend this week

good LCR! ;)

I’ve been hesitating about whether to switch my LCR to R3 Meta + R6 Meta, or go with three Q6 Meta speakers instead.

They will be used mainly for home theater, and I’m looking for greater bass capability (for use with Dirac Live ART).

I have buckeye amp, so no need to worry about powering them.

From a measurements perspective, these are all excellent speakers, but the performance difference between the Q and R series seems to be quite small, while the price difference is about 1.5X in my country.

It feels like I would be paying an extra 50% for only about a 10% performance improvement (not considering appearance).
One thing that concerns me is that the Q series uses a 0.75-inch tweeter instead of a 1-inch tweeter.

performance is close, R-series are more well built, that's about it.

That is definitely a downgrade, dirac art is not worth downgrading your speakers to use it for a few more hz for support.

Yes, it is designed to be mounted close to wall, but there are universal mounts that can be used for it
Hey, sorry for bothering but after looking into this a bit more I can't find fitting mounts. It's not a Vesa standard sadly

No it is not Vesa, but there are speaker mounts that can be used. Those mounts are meant to be universal as they can fit many speakers as long as they are within the specs for weight
For example

Huh I don't think any of these will actually fit the Q4s
How much are you looking to angle them? You can always use spacers, such as just mounting a couple small blocks of wood to the wall and then mounting the speaker to that on one side (with the other side going straight to the wall).
