Looking for wireless speaker that can handle Tidal. This KEF LX ii Lt at $599 seems to be a winner with its feature set and Erin gives a pretty good review wth Spinorama. Also a proven KEF app and remote.

What out there can compare at this price point? I desire wifi, not just Bluetooth, direct streaming to speaker rather than through a streamer, and ability to stream Tidal on my home network from phone or tablet.

I want something that can be used on a desktop, with a TV (bluetooth fine there), but also good enough for critical listening. Deep bass not required and could always get a sub down the line.

Currently have Edifier M60, which for the price are darned good little computer speakers, but I presume KEF would blow them away.

Suggestions?

No Parametric EQ means you will leave sound quality on the table as room modes, desk bounce etc will be left untamed.

A WiiM Mini is small enough that you can tape one onto the back of the speaker, but will give you 10-band PEQ and Tidal/Bluetooth streaming.

And you'll have access to many more speakers:

Yes, I was thinking of that. I have a WiiM Ultra and thoroughly enjoy it on my main system into a Hypex DIY amp. KEF Connect has only limited EQ.
