I have facebook instagram a modern car ( KIA EV6 )and a solar power system ( fusion solar ) and no VPN , the amount of further damage to my privacy KEF could do is limited ( or WiiM which I also have ) .

Further my employer’s AD servers got cracked last year

It would be cool if they actually did that , I would not hesitate to give such stats.

If they collected thermal data , power levels , playback loudness, usage time etc VC temperatures why not build statistics on the wear out process of the speakers in the field ? Store an audio sample adjacent to major failure, for example a blown bass driver .
This could help them design their next generation.

But I’ll guess it’s more mundane stats as which input or service or app one uses as I use the digital inputs with an external streamer my stats must be very boring to them . I’ll setup my speakers and after that it’s not much to collect for anyone .
