KEF LS60 and WiiM Ultra?

The Mini has two outputs. Analog or digital via optical. You need 5v to power the Mini (comes with it) you aren’t powering the Mini from the LS60’s.

Best option is to use the optical cable to feed the speakers.

Mine aren’t currently hooked up to due hurricane Milton surge invading our home. I grabbed one of my Mini’s and a power cord to apply power to see if the usb port would light up the Mini but wasn’t able to get it to light up.This isn’t a full test however…

I was able to find an Ethernet cable and fire up the speaker and it does power up the Mini when the speaker is turned on. So in standby mode the usb port is not supplying current.

Edit to correct spelling

Are you powering the mini directly from the LS60s? And, which input are you using for the KEF? I'm considering the LS60s, but have an odd layout and want to absolutely minimize cabling.
I have plenty of outlets next to the speakers, but I'm actually switching up to a pro so I can EQ the optical output of my TV.

WiiM’s optical output works at 24/192. I’ve tested it using the optical cable supplied with the WiiM (Mini and Pro) at 24/192 into an RME DAC.
But not with the LS60, I am guessing.
Network up to 24bit/384kHz
Optical up to 24bit/96kHz
Coaxial up to 24bit/192kHz
HDMI up to 24bit/192kHz
