Hi all,

I have been looking at very small satellite speakers for a potential Atmos or Auro3D setup. And I came across the Kef 'egg' speakers. I am talking about the KHT and HTS series.

Apparently many were enthusiastic about their performance. But unfortunately because it was in a earlier era, measurements are not to be found.
And the actual line of Kef eggs series is hard to found as well.

Does anyone know more about the differences between the models/series and their acoustic performance? :)

Have you seen this thread?

KEF (USA) is currently offering the 'Egg Duo' loudspeaker in four colors for $299.99 a pair - while supplies last

Yea, have seen this one. But this is only one model. And it seems relatively good! I wonder if this is the best model, or there have been better ones

Not in Europe :)
And I still don't know if this is the best model. Or there have been previous models that performed better.

The 3001 was the top of the line, they changed direction after that into a more vertical tubular cast aluminum speaker with smaller drivers that is not well reviewed. The new Egg Duo are powered, so you would need to find new measurements. There are many used 3001 eggs on the UK eBay, including with the hard to find stands. You can also plug the ports to make them sealed.
