Kef Blade one Meta - How is the sound ?

You mean these? ;):)

Yes, they sound great if you have a good size room with acoustical treatments.

Vocals, strings, horns (any brass section), soundstage size, and focus are hard to beat.

I would think that Blade 2 meta would sound better in most of the normal size rooms.

I totally agree with you! Nice set up!

Before the usual ASR naysayers dig their claws in, I will say that I’m prepared to pay the excess for locally (UK) built, battleship, bling. You will not hear me waxing lyrically about it compared to other equipment.
Me as well! My system is Aavik and all Ansuz wiring dtc mainz8 and Ansuz d2 switch. I’m to the point that I mainly stream because it’s that good! What was cool about this build out is that I did it pieces at a time in my home and just hear as the transformation was happening. I’m obsessed with the black hole, and this is my absolute quietest noise free system that I’ve put together yet. Background noise has always been a pet peeve for me. I had two tandberg cassette decks back in the day and a tandberg tr2080 receiver. I still have that in a closet.

They look pretty cool with the subs on the sides

I am assuming this was aimed me, this was my main system, my AV Processor has since been replaced with an Anthem AVM70

This was a temp set up of my what is my bedroom system , this was taken when I first got my KEF LS 50’s.

Used to own B&W 800D2, 802D2 , 802D, 802 Diamonds and sold them all! Now looking for better engineered speakers that can play loud and have better engineering!

I totally agree with you! Nice set up!
Hi Greg858,

I wish that setup was mine, I took that picture at the BestBuy in Grapevine, TX.

But don't feel sorry for me, I'm doing fine ;):).

Congrats on Metas and please keep us posted on your new room development. :)

That very well could be, buts that’s a whole other story!

Genelec 8361+W371 vs Kef Blade
Which is better? :)
Only one of these tries to deal with SBIR at lower frequencies in a meaningful way, so that's a clear advantage to the Genelec combo. It also looks to have a bit wider dispersion above 1 kHz, something that may be preferable to many.
Here's a comparison of the Blade 1 meta with Kef's own measurements vs 8361;
