I am trying two different speakers for my living room at moderate listening levels:
Polk R200's driven by a wiim am pro (turned up to max or near max volume)
Kanto rens hooked up to my PC via USB.
Enjoy the Kanto ren's more for most songs - they sound "brighter" and not as "dull". The R200's sound less lively in comparison.
This was unexpected for me since the R200's are highly reviewed.
Would the R200's sound better with a better amp (yamaha as 501?)
Is it because I'm using wireless streaming for the Polk's vs wired for the Kanto's?
Or are the Kano Ren's just better at lower volumes for an apartment.
