Hello community,

Hoping I chose the right section for this topic.

I moved from on SVS 3000 micro to two Kali WS-6.2 subs. I love them but the only downside is no auto sensing on/standby.

Besides the on/off switch, the units have a 1/4” foot switch compatible connection to turn the unit off. Footswitches are cheap enough, but is anyone aware of a unit with a 12v trigger or any other automated solution that exists? I’d have to assume studio would require something that isn’t manual, but I could be assuming too much.

If there was a way I could automate this using the trigger out from my AVR, or a smart switch, that would be awesome.

I searched using all kinds of keywords through Google, but no luck.

Thank you!

Thank you for this suggestion. I will look into this one. Wish it was UL Listed.

Glad to know the good critics that has the Kali, looking for a small sub to my G Threes.

I want to use the crossover and dedicated sub output of a WiiM Ultra, do you know if is needed to use a splitter to connect 2 RCA inputs to the single RCA of the WiiM or should just choose one channel input?

Thanks !

Just one input channel from the Ultra, I use the left RCA input on the 6.2 with no issues.

I used an esp32 controlled relais https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/1005005599324679.html
With home assistant, the footswitch is on between 22:00pm and 09:00am.
With home asisstant, I also control the power of the Kali. My HA detects that the streaming starts.

Also fun to check the sound difference, easily controlled from the HA app on the phone.
