Hi guys

I have owned a pair of LP-8’s for around 2 years, quite pleased with them, my friend now wants to buy them off of me for a good price, and I have the money to buy a pair of IN-8’s

Is there a huge difference ?

See pics of my LP-8’s currently on the wall brackets, I have them connected straight into my Allen & Heath ZED24 Mixer, I’m playing my keyboards and singing through them (I play in 3 pro bands as a musician, so regularly learning material at home)

Do you think the IN-8’s are in a different league sonically?

Huge? No. The IN-8s are better, but the LPs are no slouches.

If they are not being subjected to much in terms of real deep bass at high levels, the difference in midrange clarity may not be as obvious as it could be otherwise.

One precaution to take with the IN-8s: Make sure you're not exactly on-axis in order to avoid the coax's ~10 kHz dip.

I have the LP-8s and IN-5s in my house. I have heard the IN-8 as well The IN series is a very noticeable upgrade over the LP series, especially in the midrange. YMMV.
