Hi there,

I currently own the Edifier S2000MKIII and I’m looking to upgrade my setup, but I’m not fully sure what I’m doing yet.

I recently purchased the Fosi BT20A Pro, but it arrived without any cables, which I wasn’t expecting.

I own a couple of sound cards. Should I just throw them to pile, or should i keep them apart?

Now I’m a bit stuck and not sure how to proceed from here.

Any help will be much appreciated.
 




I chose the Q Acoustics 3020c, but I’m not impressed.

The bass is more precise, but it lacks the fun factor. Even at around 80 percent volume, the low end doesn’t have much punch.
 
Do you guys think i should buy kali EP-6?
 
Of your listed options, I would definitely go for the Kali LP-6 v2. However, for a budget desk setup I think you'd be remiss not to consider the Adam Audio D3V. Unless you like to listen at highly elevated volumes, the D3V goes surprisingly deep and is just an excellent little speaker in general. The USB-C in is also really handy.

I guess I’ve moved past that crowd now (lol). I’m really into passive monitor speakers these days, and I’m not going back—kyuu. That said, I’d still consider picking up the Edifier S730 2.1 though.
 

The 3020c has one weak point: the bass. It lacks the punch and depth of the S2000. Imaging, soundstage, mids, and highs are all solid, though. I made a little review.
 
Is anyone available to help me improve my audio setup? My budget is limited, and my main goal is to upgrade from my current MK3 S2000 and 3020c.

Would the Kali LP-6 be a good option for this purpose?

I don't think you have enough space for the Kali's, unless you get your PC off the desk: https://comparesizes.com/comparison/3020c-vs-LP6v2/1778318116478

You could try mounting the PC to the bottom of the desk surface using sliding rails or straps.

If the PC stays, then you're much better off looking into a smaller class of speakers, something like the Kali LP-UNF, Adam D3V, iLoud Micro Monitor, ...
 
I'm considering buying the Kali LP-6 v2 or subwoofer staticV3 wich one do you think would improve more my audio quality?
 
I’m currently trying to decide which speakers to buy and came across the Kali LP-6 V2. At first, I thought the price looked surprisingly good… then I realized they’re being sold individually, not as a pair.

So it’s actually €200 per speaker — now the “cheap” price makes a lot more sense. :facepalm:

Get a subwoofer! That will solve your "lack of bass" issues and you will be much happier. So you can keep your Q acoustics as the only issue is the lack of bass and add a real subwoofer and voila! You will have a nice system. Good Luck!
 
Yeah, but I got a deal on the LP-6 that I can’t refuse. So for now, I’ll put the subwoofer on the back burner.
 
Finally i bought Kali LP-6 (1st version) as you recommended me. And i couldn't be more happier.

Sounds amazing!

yeah you were right. Kali doesn't feet in my desk and i don't have stands. For now the speakers are above 3020c
 
i finally eliminated audio distortion on kali lp-6 by changing power strip can i do the same on MKIII S2000?
 


this is how the setup is right now. I need stands that fit the Kali. Anyone can help me out choosing ones?
