Hello Alll
I am looking at upgrading from my 20 plus year old speakers klipsch rf62, Rick has been most helpful, I have a 200 rms two channel amp hyprex amp and using a topping dac d50iii, and have a douk eq9 eq as my p.c. is miles away so cannot access the d50iii eq. I have a nice and clean signal chain I use Spotify lossless, Roon etc would be better. i listen to 50's-80's,70's progressive,electronic/trance etc, but no classical, jazz,or blues who has time for the blues anyway? I have looked at speaker designs blueprints with diy passive crossovers, dayton audio dsp modules, and have asked Rick, who has been really helpful too, about this speaker full range Lii song Fast 15 only 40 rms. I have found this full range speaker and wonder as it is a coaxial and included crossover, and Celestion even included plans for a simple ported box for it to, yes a guitar monitor, full range 60 hz to 20Khz, yeah I might have to buy a sub woofer later, a reasonable flat response and a totally different sound signature to other guitar monitor speakers, e.g. flat. Made in England and 200 rms each and only $500.00 each NZD. i see noone has been batshit crazy to use it in a diy for home audio, the only real downside is the 60 hz but am not a bass fan anyway, possible the 12 inch cone handling mid frequencies but I have seen another example and all fears can be allayed, I am really warming to this one fullrange speaker, one and done just send it! Celestion F12-X200. Oh look in the sky there is pigs on the wing!!!!!!

Who is "Rick" ?
