Sad news. One of my favorite musical people. I had the pleasure of seeing him in small venues a couple of times. Plus another time when his voice was in danger. In that one he played with a group without singing and was still the star of that show.

I saw him in 1991 @ Vanderbilt Univ my freshman year, in the basketball gymnasium, made a huge impression on me....Loved the show but never had the opportunity to see him again. Sad to hear this news.

Very sad - his self titled album from 1971 has been a household staple for me the last couple of years.
