tldr: The sound is horrible. So harsh in the treble that I can't tolerate it.
From a physical design and functional point of view JLab Rewind 2 is a good fit for my needs. I hate wearing headphones that enclose my ears and generally do so only when recording. I can't use IEMs because they cause my ears to itch and after an hour or so it's quite painful. I like Koss KPH30i very much and would use them a lot more were it not for the cable hence the JLab Rewind 2. In everything apart from SQ JLab Rewind 2 seems good to me but the SQ is worse than bad.
I see that Koss has now released a revised Porta Pro Wireless so that might be worth a try but they cost $100.
