I am looking at buying some used speakers and trying to compare what would be sound louder and better. The options are 4 JL audio mc7cwxc5-4 speakers (the older version of the current m6 models. They have a separate tweeter on the side. Each is 100 watt RMS, 7" speaker). A pair of wet sounds Rev 10s 300 watt RMS each, 10" speakers. Or one Rev 410 enclosure system 400 watt RMS 8" speakers and a large horn. The JL audio I hear are supposed to be a higher quality speakers and more true sound. But even with 4 speakers I'm not sure they will be able to be as loud as 2 Rev 10s or the Rev 410. And it gets loud behind the boat while on the water. Anyone have experience with this selection?
