Bought already based on measurements in another review. Sounds excellent but I do get static on my phone, maybe need to clean the USB port

What a great accessory for your IEMs! You no longer need to have your 110 db Sinad portable DAC amp be in so clunky a form factor as something the size of a pack of chewing gum. No! No more! Just too cumbersome!

Now you can get something like USB Audio Player Pro, add the Morphit PEQ, hook this dac to your USB C, and listen to Qobuz or Amazon Music or Tidal on your cell phone with no 17 gram monstrosity like my Hidisz Martha dangling (or is it dongling) around and weighing you down. Progress!

Oh, and if you get this little $22 DAC/ Amp and go get a streaming service on your phone, then get a quality app player like USB Audio Player Pro to EQ those $20 IEMs, guess what you need the Astel and Kern Ultra Processor for?

Great review, Amir, thank you!

The name Jcally reminds me of my fav Angel, Jacklyn Smith :D

Hifi has come a long way, DACs and amps are already as good as it gets, basically. When will the chinese challenge Genelec and Neumann?
Speakers need to be indistinguishable from each other first.

This product is only considered a non-brand product in China. Its approximate price is around ten to fifteen US dollars.
It's quite cheap but surprisingly, it performs so well. Unlike companies like FOSI SMSL who conduct professional tests.

China has a large number of such ordinary brand products. They don't conduct tests either, but these results convince me that their products are not bad either. The key point is that their prices are only one-third of those of brands!

I'm very grateful to those in the foreign countries who conduct professional and free tests. They have made tremendous efforts!
Previously, there were some volunteers in China who did this, but it was difficult for them to persist without economic support.

We have too many electronic products here. They should all open up the foreign market and accept challenges. By offering absolute performance and low prices, they can gain more profits!

Most people may find it hard to believe that there are even cheaper products than FOSI SMSL. In fact, there are too many of them.

The key point is that the price is only half of theirs, and some even one-third. It's just that they don't have professional instruments for measurement to give professional and objective evaluations.

In fact, I think that the products made in China now represent good quality and low prices. It seems that we are enjoying the golden age of the United States in the 1950s and 1960s. Everything around us is much cheaper than abroad. Unless you really have to have foreign goods, unfortunately, foreign goods are also made in China, just with a foreign brand name. It's a pity.

I consulted some companies that manufacture audio equipment. They are not reluctant to do this business.
It's just that the market for this sector is shrinking. Young people no longer buy those bulky audio equipment to listen to music.

Another reason is that dealers are reluctant to sell Chinese brand audio equipment. A junk product from abroad can be sold for tens of thousands of dollars easily, but an identical one from China can only fetch a few thousand dollars. The profit margin is too low!

Another brilliant little device I'd of otherwise never of known about , Thanks Amirm.

With some recent IEMs showing great performance at ASR we are clearly shown the wood from the trees . I for one am grateful, makes my purchase decisions so much easier.

Such great product design and at a great price , enriching consumers. Of course being hungry Insatiable consumers, one might be wise to save more and consume less.., just one more IEM , one more dongle ..

power consumption?
I am pretty sure this has the same internals as the FiiO KA11 and effectively gets the same measurements.

But, I wonder does it get hot like (and occasionally overhead) as the KA11 was prone todo. As for power comsumption that was another 'problem' with the KA11 - it would pull allot more power and waste the battery allot quicker than a simpler less powerful dongle like the Apple USB-C

Yeah, excellent performance from this little thing! Interested to see the 50mv results that Amir is gonna post up.
