JBL Studio 590 Speaker Review

I'm not discussing the stock, passive, as is, design. It is what it is, made to hit a price point, i think its very lacking even for the price point, what ever, done.
From here on? its a pile of parts, and I offer a way to make it better with some investment.
And I'm not talking just marginally better, I'm talking few orders of magnitude better.

With that said, after matching my mid to the tweeter (which is still connected to its passive crossover network with all the damping in there), when matching the woofers output to the mid+tweeter, i'm lowering the woofers by -3.5dB which tells me a single woofer can work fine doing 20-600Hz.

Next stage I will bypass all the passive crossover (other then safety cap on the tweeter).

1. How it's off topic if it's about the 590?
