I saw a comment somewhere, along the lines of "the M2, 3 series and 7 series, all sound the same!" - which says there is a consistency in the vision there - he's doing something right ...

Yes, they're basically supposed to scale up / down according to the room size, with differences (ideally) only in max loudness and bass extension.

Pretty important concept when you're doing production work.
