Not only Sweeden, all the CE area also, where most manufactured goods have 3 year warranty, even up to lightbulbs (yes, I asked and I was perplexed when the store told me that they were covered). This is good news for everyone as hopefully manufacturers will embrace similar manufacturing techniques worldwide, since no manufacturer wants to exchange a failed product under warranty.

What's the CE area? Central Europe? Are we just talking about the EU here, or...?

Such a blurry delivery confirmation photo it's nearly impossible to tell there's even a box there, but...

There she is, amongst the other items awaiting Amir's attention, presumably. Now... we keep waiting.

Still have roughly two weeks until my unit gets shipped + a certain testing period against the T758v3. It would just be great if the review would be published prior to that. ✊✊

Probably this has already been posted, but here are some additional smaller user reviews:

Really like the clean OSD overlay. Not too distracting and it is content focused!

Edit: This EZ Set calibration does not treat the subs? That is pretty lacklustre! Good that my Nubert Sub has built in calibration which is quite okay'ish. Will upgrade to Dirac after some time I recon.

Edit2: EZ Set EQ does not calibrate the subwoofer separate from the main loudspeakers. The system is calibrated full-range with thesubwoofer output active to capture the “system” acoustic data to blend the subwoofer more effectively for each channel. In thisway, the system takes a snapshot of the combined performance of the loudspeaker and subwoofer system integration.

How do we respectfully indicate to Amir that we the people would like him to prioritize your blurry box?

Beyond simply asking him? Dunno. Not really sure it's fair to prioritize my blurry box over other blurry boxes that may have been waiting longer, though.

He knows there's a fair amount of interest in this AVR line, which is why he agreed to test it in the first place.

Hoping someone send a JBL MA9100HP to Amir soon to measure. Curious what the actual power all channels driven is like

Double meaning. Meant the European Community and probably the European Common Market and all the area where the CE certification is mandated.

(The “CE” stands for “Conformité Européenne,” or “European Conformity” in French. On electronic devices, the CE mark is similar to the FCC logo and FCC labeling you might spot on computer hardware, consumer electronics, and other electronic devices that comply with the FCC's regulations.)

https://single-market-economy.ec.europa.eu/single-market/ce-marking_en

Just came from a long time over there and I got confuse and traversed CE and EC :)

There are some minor known issues in JBL MA7100HP/MA9100HP devices that were launched last week.
  1. Pop sound is heard between sweeps during measurement.
  2. If the user is toggling filters with Dirac Live app, it takes up to 6 secs. And if a user switches filter on the device,it takes about 6 secs to update on Dirac Live, even though the filter is switched.
  3. JBL will have fixes for these in their next software release

@Flak Any plans to offer a discount/special offer on Dirac for new MA7100/MA9100HP owners? :)

I just switched from a TX-NR7100 and am using the EZ Set calibration. I do miss the flexibility of Dirac though.

@Flak You wouldn't happen to have any inside knowledge on if DLBC is coming to these receivers or if they will only have access to base Dirac Live? I thought someone at JBL intimated that DLBC would be available for these, but I could be mistaken. Of course since there's only one actual subwoofer out, only the single subwoofer version would relevant. And there is some question over what value DLBC for a single subwoofer brings over the base Dirac Live correction.

@tusc Any opinion on the JBL MAxxxx compared to the Onkyo?

One sub should be enough if DLART is rolled out for these devices. The power for full-range speakers should be sufficient. This is no comparison to the ordinary class-ab competitors.

I rather doubt DLART is on the table for these. Although for those of us who aren't full-range speakers plus subs, multiple subs would probably be of benefit regardless.

A bit worrying about reading the performance section of ITJim's review, hope its just a one timer. I have my eyes on the MA9100HP, I really hope it will perform well, my last atempt for a Class-D with resonable price. Or else I will drop the idea of buying a AVR, sell my speakers and buy SVS Wireless Pro. *bye bye Home theater* :(
