JBL Endurance Run 2

I figured this belongs on this thread: Sean Olive's Harman EQ from his twitter account (which you should all follow). This is a great and possibly the cheapest way to "hear what he hears" (theoretically, of course, given our unique ear/canal shapes).

Thank you so much for this.

For anyone interested I have attached the displayed filter set as an Equalizer APO readable file.

Tried the PEQ with the even cheaper JBL T160, which nicely opens them up. Considering I paid £6 for them on discount, they're not bad at all.

I do not like this earphone. It's so uncomfortable. My ear hurts after wearing it for a while and it broke down after one week. I hope JBL should stop making this kind of earplugs. The basic ones are so much better.

Why hope for discontinuation of things that others enjoy?

My ears hurt too at first. The trick for me was different tips.

YMMV.

I couldnt find any PEQ profiles, even on autoeq.app, so Sean's PEQ profile (posted earlier) was very helpful.

I bought these for a relative, but he didn't like the fit, so I started using them, for very loud coffee shops, with my laptop.
The passive noise isolation works very well to block outside noise.
The PEQ profile makes these much more listenable for longer hours.
I loaded the EAPO profile into SoundSource on MacOS, easily.

Although these aren't my primary headphones, since i still prefer IEM for more critical listening, when at home, where there's less noise.

Anyway, for the money they're undervalued, I've enjoying them a lot more thanks to the PEQ profile.

Hey If someone want to try my aproximation for the Harman 2018 there is:
Preamp: -4 dB
Filter 1: ON PK Fc 71 Hz Gain 0.7 dB Q 1.900
Filter 2: ON PK Fc 100 Hz Gain -2.6 dB Q 0.300
Filter 3: ON PK Fc 550 Hz Gain 4.7 dB Q 1.100
Filter 4: ON PK Fc 2100 Hz Gain -0.7 dB Q 1.700
Filter 5: ON PK Fc 4500 Hz Gain -6.6 dB Q 3.000
Filter: ON PK Fc 6600 Hz Gain -3 dB Q 4
Filter 7: ON PK Fc 8000 Hz Gain -2.4 dB Q 4.700
Filter 8: ON PK Fc 9500 Hz Gain 1.8 dB Q 5.000
Filter 9: ON PK Fc 11000 Hz Gain -2.7 dB Q 5.000
Filter: ON PK Fc 12000 Hz Gain -6 dB Q 0.8182

I tried to try the aproximation for both measurements he published (GRAS and 5128)
